Integrations

Integrations let you connect your own tools to streamline scheduling and meeting insights, and to enable passive skill verification. Manage them from Settings → Integrations (/person/settings/integrations), where you'll find connection cards for GitHub, Calendly, and Fireflies.

Connect GitHub for skill verification

Goal: Earn verified skill badges from your real commit activity.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations (/person/settings/integrations).
  2. On the GitHub card, click Connect and authorize Illumera.
  3. Illumera passively analyzes your public commit activity and adds a GitHub Verified badge to matching skills on your Skills page.

Badge visibility is yours to control

GitHub-verified badges are private to you by default. Use the badge visibility toggle on the GitHub card to decide whether companies can see them.

Connect Calendly for scheduling

Goal: Let companies book time with you without back-and-forth.

  1. On the Calendly card, click Connect and authorize access.
  2. Once connected, your Calendly scheduling can be used for interview and intro bookings.

Connect Fireflies for meeting insights

Goal: Bring meeting notes and insights into your workflow.

  1. On the Fireflies card, click Connect and authorize access.
  2. Once connected, Fireflies meeting insights are available alongside your engagements.

Set your communication style

Goal: Help companies understand how you prefer to collaborate.

Your communication style is captured as part of your work environment assessment and is surfaced on your results page. Set or update it from Availability & Work Environment (/person/work-environment), where the Constraints step records your preferred team size and collaboration style, and the Results step shows your communication style summary.

tip

Disconnecting an integration is the reverse of connecting it — use the Disconnect action on the same card. Disconnecting GitHub removes the verification badges it produced.
