Talent Marketplace
The Talent Marketplace at /company/marketplace lets you search talent across your own network, the external marketplace, and partner networks, then shortlist or invite candidates to a project slot. Each candidate is scored against your slot requirements and your culture profile.
Searching the marketplace, opening a candidate's profile, and shortlisting or inviting are company_admin actions. Company members don't have access to marketplace search or the invite flow.
Search and filter talent
Goal: narrow the pool to candidates who fit your slot.
- Open /company/marketplace. Choose a source tab: Internal Network, External Marketplace, or Partner Networks.
- Use the left filter pane to refine results:
- Search by skills, titles, or keywords
- Worker Type (Contractor, Full-time, Agency Partner)
- Network (Own + partner names)
- Availability (Any, Available Now, Limited Availability, Booked)
- Max Rate slider ($50–$300/hr)
- Clearance Level (None, Public Trust, Secret, TS/SCI)
- Work Authorization (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Visa Holder, Sponsorship Required)
- Use Clear filters to reset.
/company/marketplaceEach result card shows the candidate's name, rating, a "Via [Partner]" badge for federated talent, a color-coded match percentage bar, top skills, hourly rate, and availability.
Shortlist a candidate
Goal: add a promising candidate to a project's pipeline.
- On a result card, click Shortlist.
- If you have more than one project, pick the target project from the Select a project dropdown. The button changes to Shortlisted with a checkmark.
Shortlisting creates an engagement in the Shortlisted stage without committing. See Engagements for the full lifecycle.
Review a candidate's profile
Goal: assess fit before inviting, using the explainable match overlay.
- Click a candidate to open their detail page at /company/marketplace/people/:id.
- Review the Skills card (with proficiency), bio, and links.
- In the right column, pick the target role in the Work Environment Compatibility card to see the Overall match percentage and the four CVF dimension bars: Collaborative, Innovative, Results-Driven, Structured. Constraint checks — Work Mode, Work Location, Travel, Clearance, Schedule — appear as pass (✓) or fail (✗) badges.
- Expand Skill Match Signals to see verification gaps, proficiency gaps, cert-inferred skills, and related-skill matches behind the score.
/company/marketplace/people/:idCommunication style
The Communication Style card appears only when the candidate has opted in and is legally cleared to share. When present, it shows up to three chips — Collaboration, Feedback, and Accountability — plus an optional disclosure note. Culture Signal Sources above it indicates whether the signals come from the questionnaire and/or analyzed meeting transcripts.
Communication style and culture signals are read-only context to inform your decision. They are disclosed by the candidate, not edited by your company.
Shortlist or invite from the profile
Goal: move the candidate forward.
- In the sticky Add to Pipeline card, choose a project.
- Click Shortlist Candidate to add them to review, or Send Invitation to make a formal offer (creating an Invited engagement).
- Use the Private Notes section to record notes visible only to your company.
/company/marketplace/people/:idThe compatibility view overlays the candidate's strengths, the slot requirements, and your company's culture profile — giving you an explainable, defensible basis for each decision.
