Engagements

An engagement is your relationship with a contractor or candidate for a specific project, tracked from first contact through completion. Engagements are created when you shortlist or invite from the Marketplace and managed at /company/engagements.

Browse engagements

Goal: see every contractor and candidate and their current stage.

  1. Open /company/engagements.
  2. Each card shows the person, project, hourly rate, weekly hours, and a status badge.
  3. Click a card to open the engagement detail. Where available, use the Archive button to remove a shortlisted or invited candidate from the active pipeline (the record is preserved).

Manage an engagement

Goal: track details, history, ratings, and notes for one contractor.

  1. Open an engagement at /company/engagements/:id.
  2. The header shows the person, project, status, rate, commitment (hrs/wk), and start/ end dates, plus a Schedule meeting button.
  3. Use the Proven Performer toggle to flag a standout contractor (visible only to your company).
  4. Review the Activity timeline for status changes and events.

Rate a completed engagement

Goal: capture private feedback after an engagement ends.

  1. When an engagement is Completed or Terminated, the Rate This Engagement section appears.
  2. Choose a 1–5 star rating, optionally add a comment and skill feedback, and check Would work with this person again.
  3. Click Submit Rating (or Update Rating).
Private to your company

Ratings, skill feedback, the Proven Performer flag, and private notes are visible only to your company — they are never shown to the talent.

Private notes

In the Private Company Notes section, add notes about the candidate. Notes are timestamped and can be edited or deleted, and are visible only to your company.

tip

Archiving is non-destructive — it only removes shortlisted or invited candidates from your active pipeline. You can still find the record later.
