Engagements
An engagement is the formal record of your working relationship with a company on a specific
project slot. The Engagements page (/person/engagements) tracks every engagement through its
lifecycle and is organized into three tabs reachable at /person/engagements/:tab.
/person/engagementsUnderstand the lifecycle
Engagements move through a series of stages, shown as a status on each row:
- Applied — You expressed interest (shortlisted) and the company is reviewing your profile.
- Invited — The company has formally offered you the slot.
- Accepted — You accepted the invitation.
- On Track / At Risk — The engagement is active. "At Risk" flags a delivery or schedule concern.
- Paused — Temporarily on hold (e.g. a project delay).
- Completed — The engagement concluded successfully.
- Terminated — Ended early after becoming active.
- Withdrawn — You withdrew your application before it became active.
Navigate the tabs
Goal: Find engagements by where they are in their lifecycle.
- Active (
/person/engagements) — On Track and At Risk engagements. - Pending (
/person/engagements/pending) — Applied, shortlisted, and invited engagements. - Completed (
/person/engagements/completed) — Completed, terminated, and withdrawn engagements.
The KPIs at the top summarize your monthly run rate, active contracts, pending / overdue invoices, and average hourly rate.
